Looking back at a successful Final MEDIATOR Event

On the 13th of April our Final Event took place at The Hague Public Transport Museum (HOVM). The presentations on the main project results, including a demo festival, keynote speech and panel discussions were received very well by the audience.

Conclusion
It became clear that we’ve further paved the way for a safe transition towards autonomous driving. During the event there was a lot of interest from stakeholders from industry, policy as well as science in the different results that were presented.

The MEDIATOR project, funded by the European Commission, came to an end after 4 years of hard work. MEDIATOR has developed several working prototypes, validated the system in numerous studies, determined the (safety) impact of the system and has developed guidelines for driver monitoring and guidelines for HMI design. Finally, MEDIATOR has developed roadmaps for exploitation of the system.
